Career Highlights
Known for her cutting-edge designs, she has been recognised with Oscar nominations for excellence in costume design for Walk the Line (2006) and Madonna’s W.E (2012). She received a Tony nomination for Best Costume Designer for the Broadway musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch and a BAFTA nomination for Tom Ford’s A Single Man. 2017 brought her second collaboration with director Matthew Vaughn with Kingsman: The Golden Circle, having previously collaborated on Kingsman: The Secret Service (2016).
Other notable films include 3:10 to Yuma, One Hour Photo, Girl Interrupted, The People vs Larry Flynt, Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
2017 marks her 20-year working relationship with Madonna. Collaborations include album covers, photo shoots, music videos, and designing her past six world tours.
Always looking for new creative opportunities, she is thrilled to be designing her first opera: Marnie, a co-production between ENO and the Metropolitan Opera, New York.
