Timothy has conducted include the Royal Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, RTÉ National Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Malmö Symfoniorkester and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. He has conducted for several prestigious European dance companies including the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden. In 2008, he and Anthony Baker created a new performing version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s lost opera, Thespis, which received critical acclaim and has been produced internationally. He has made a specialism of conducting film scores live to projection, and has been a conductor for Harry Potter in Concert since 2017.
