Awards and achievements: A Samling scholar, he was runner-up at the 2012 Kathleen Ferrier Awards‚ finalist in the 2014 Belvedere Competition, and winner of Opera Les Azuriale’s Ozone prize‚ the Guildhall School’s English song prize and Northern Ireland Opera’s inaugural Festival of Voice.

Notable engagements include: Figaro Le nozze di Figaro (Scottish Opera; Xi-An‚ China); Falke Die Fledermaus, Goryanchikov From the House of the Dead (WNO); Guglielmo Così fan tutte, Pish-Tush (Scottish Opera); Eisenstein Die Fledermaus, Marullo Rigoletto (Northern Ireland Opera); The Devil Inside (Scottish Opera, Music Theatre Wales) for which he won ‘Outstanding Performance in an Opera’ at the My Theatre Awards in Toronto; Guglielmo (West Green House Opera); Figaro The Marriage of Figaro (Opera Project‚ West Green House); Count The Marriage of Figaro (Irish National Opera); Goryanchikov (Janáček Festival, Brno).
