Amy Kerenza Sedgwick
Mezzo-soprano
Amy Kerenza Sedgwick studied at the GSMD with Adrian Thompson. Formerly a member of the Grange Park Opera Chorus (where she covered several principal roles) and Garsington Opera Chorus, she joined the ENO Chorus in 2010.
Previously for ENO: Young Tree Paul Bunyan, Secretary The Perfect American by Philip Glass and Voice from Above Parsifal. At ENO she has also covered: Barena Jenufa, Curra The Force of Destiny, Mercedes Carmen, Emelia Otello, Second Lady The Magic Flute, Berta The Barber of Seville, Flora La traviata, Fortune Teller, Bird Seller/Old Woman Julietta, Mary The Flying Dutchman, Hippolyta A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Flowermaiden Parsifal and covered and performed the role of First Old Lady A Dog’s Heart. She also took part in Marvellous Miller, celebrating Jonathan Miller’s four decades at ENO.
