William O’Sullivan

Will O’Sullivan was born in London, and attended the Royal College of Music.
When did you join?
During the 1997/98 Season.
Favourite ENO opera?
Berg’s Wozzeck.
Best ENO moment?
Peter Grimes at the BBC Proms in 2012, conducted by Edward Gardiner.
How did you start?
At the Centre for Young Musicians in London, funded by the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA).
Passion outside of opera?
Cooking and mending things.
Career Highlights
During this time he was a member of the European Community Youth Orchestra, and on leaving the RCM, freelanced with many of the London Orchestras and Early Music ensembles.
He joined English National Opera in 1996, and has recently become a member of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields chamber orchestra.
He teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
