I joined in 1988.

Favourite ENO opera?
Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

Best ENO moment?
Playing The Valkyrie at the Glastonbury Festival in 2004.

How did you start?
I started playing at the age of 12 because my school had a visiting brass teacher and I thought I would give it a try!! Got to Grade 8 by the age of 15 and won a scholarship to Royal Academy of Music at 16.

Passion outside of opera?
I enjoy sailing my boat on the River Thames and recently started woodturning, which I enjoy very much.
