Hanna Hipp continues to prove her versatility in the lyric mezzo-soprano repertoire, with key debuts in recent seasons including Dorabella Così fan tutte, Der Komponist Ariadne auf Naxos and Hänsel Hänsel und Gretel to name a few.

Career Highlights
She enjoys an exciting season of debuts in 2019/20: in David McVicar’s new production of Death in Venice at the ROH, conducted by Richard Farnes; and in Salome with the Bergen Philharmonic conducted by Edward Gardner at both the Bergen and Edinburgh International Festivals.
On the concert stage, she sings the title role in Mascagni’s Zanetto (Scottish Opera/David Parry), Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été (CBSO/Francois Leleux; Oulu Symphony Orchestra/Ville Matvejeff); and Mozart Requiem (Scottish Chamber Orchestra/Klaus Mäkelä).
She has recorded Anna Les Troyens under John Nelson for the Erato and Warner Classics label, and recently released her first recital disc of songs by Pizzetti on Resonus Classics.
