ENO performances at the London Coliseum are following the Society of London Theatre Ticketing Principles through flexible and safe operational measures that combine the passion and desire for live experiences with the best possible customer experience.

Buying Opera Tickets

Buying your opera tickets is easy to do on our website.

You will need an email address to receive your e-tickets which can be held on your phone or tablet and added to your wallet/passbook app. Alternatively, you can also print your ticket at home and bring it with you if you prefer.

Box office hours

Should you wish to book tickets via our Box Office you can do so via Live Chat which is available Monday – Friday at eno.org 10.00 to 18.00.

On days when there is an evening performance in the London Coliseum, we open at 10.00 and close 30 minutes after the show starts.

On days when there is only a matinee performance at the London Coliseum times may vary, usually opening 2 hours prior to the start time of the performance and closing 15 minutes after the performance begins.

Booking fees

ENO charges a non-refundable booking fee per ticket of £3.25 which will be shown when you select your seats. This fee does not apply to ENO Friends in priority booking periods, or to ENO Supporters at any time.

Seating within the auditorium

There are four seating levels to choose from at the London Coliseum. Starting at ground level they are Stalls, Dress Circle, Upper Circle and Balcony.

Please note there is limited lift access to the Balcony and the staircase has 86 steps.

Boxes are available in the Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle levels.

Accessible Tickets

We recommend that wheelchair users or customers with other access needs join our Access Scheme so you can purchase tickets at half-price or less, subject to availability.

Please note there is limited lift access to the Balcony and staircase has 86 steps.

Under 16s

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under five will not be admitted.

Concessions and standby tickets

Concessionary standby tickets are offered for some ENO performances. These are subject to availability and will be confirmed from midday on the day of the performance. If standby tickets are offered, they are available to senior citizens, students, Universal Credit recipients, and Westminster City Save holders. Standby tickets must be booked in person in the three hours before a performance.

Exchanges and refunds

What happens if I feel ill and can’t use my ticket?

We will be ensuring that you have maximum flexibility by allowing tickets to be exchanged for another ENO performance (if available) or for a credit voucher that can be used for future performances.

For non-ENO shows, we can only exchange your tickets to another performance of that particular show.

Refunds are also available if a performance is cancelled. Please note that cancelling or exchanging your ticket may incur a fee (usually £3 per ticket).

We can exchange tickets up to 24 hours prior to the performance – so if you are unable to attend due to illness or self-isolation or if someone in your party feels ill, there’s no need to worry. Please get in touch with Box.Office@eno.org to arrange.

If you have COVID symptoms you must not attend the venue.

Entry Requirements

Please arrive as early as possible and no later than 15 minutes before the performance starts. Main doors and all bars will open 90 minutes before the performance. Auditorium doors open 60 minutes before.

To avoid delays, please have your tickets ready on arrival.

Face Coverings

If you are able, we continue to advise you to wear face-coverings during your visit however this is a personal choice.

We encourage all customers to be mindful and respectful of others and their decision about wearing a face covering.
