Anthony Gregory has been acclaimed for his unique timbre, stage presence and musicality. He was the 2015 winner of the Breakthrough Artists category by What’s On Stage when he starred as Peter Quint/Prologue The Turn of the Screw for Glyndebourne on Tour.

Career Highlights
Recent operatic highlights include: Title role Candide (Bergen National Opera); Don Ottavio Don Giovanni (Den Norske Opera); and world premiere of Stuart MacRae’s Anthropocene (Scottish Opera). On the concert platform he performed Bach’s Johannes Passion (Les Arts Florissants and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) conducted by William Christie, and Britten’s Serenade for tenor, horn and strings and Dr Maxwell/Staff Officer The Silver Tassie (BBCSO).
Forthcoming: Mercure Castor et Pollux (Bayerische Staatsoper) conducted by Ivor Bolton, Lysander A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Scottish Opera) directed by Dominic Hill, a concert performance of Hugh Wood’s Scenes from Comus with BBCSO (BBC Proms).
