Notable engagements elsewhere: Colline, Masetto (Metropolitan Opera); Escamillo, Masetto, Collatinus The Rape of Lucretia, Mr Flint Billy Budd (Glyndebourne); Mr Flint, Raleigh Gloriana (Teatro Real Madrid); Le Duc Roméo et Juliette (Salzburg Festival); Zuniga Carmen, Quinault Adriana Lecouvreur, Lodovico Otello (ROH); Nilakantha Lakmé (Opera Holland Park); Somnus/Cadmus Semele (Garsington) and Don Basilio Barber of Seville (Grange Festival). His many roles for WNO include Mozart’s Figaro, Escamillo, Sparafucile and Leporello. Highlights on the concert platform include appearances with the BBCSO/Andrew Davis, Hallé/ Elder, AAM/Egarr, English Concert/Bicket, Seattle Symphony/Gardner and Orchestre des Champs-Elysées/Herreweghe.
Forthcoming: Don Pizzaro Fidelio (Garsington); Water Sprite (Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg); returns to the ROH and Metropolitan Opera, and his debut at Opernhaus Zürich.
