Fiona Thornhill is a 23-year-old circus artist from West London.

 

Career Highlights

After eleven years competing internationally as an elite Artistic Gymnast for the City of London Gymnastics Club, she was accepted onto the degree programme at the National Centre for Circus Arts. Specialising in Acrobatics and Cyr Wheel, she graduated in 2015 with a 1st-class BA Honours.

In her first year alone she performed in front of HM The Queen at the 100th Royal Variety Performance and at the 2012 Torch Relay Concert on stage with Mark Ronson and Katie B.

She’s gone on to perform worldwide as a highly accomplished Cyr Wheel artist and stunningly powerful acrobat, also appearing on television in Blue Peter, Tumble and The John Bishop Show. Additionally, she is co-founder and director of all-female contemporary circus company, and Guinness World Record holders, Alula Cyr, who premiered their debut show Hyena on the Southbank in July 2017.
