José Triguero gained a first-class honours degree from the National Centre for Circus Arts (NCCA) in 2010 and was awarded the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award for Circus upon graduation.

Career Highlights
He currently works with the acclaimed Gandini Juggling, touring internationally with different productions. He has created a full-length circus/theatre show called Cul de Sac funded by Arts Council England and he is currently co-creating/directing juggling duet Gibbon, co-produced by Gandini Juggling and Total Theatre Awards nominated.
Since graduating he has also worked as a juggler in different projects and for different companies, including New London Consort, ENO and English National Ballet. He also choreographed Millions of Years, a collaboration between ENO and Gandini Juggling, which was performed at the British Museum in 2016.
He is very interested in approaching juggling as an art form, using it as a core to explore its infinite possibilities within choreography and theatre framework.
He is one of the teachers in the degree programme at NCCA.
He has attended many workshops in choreography, contemporary clown and devised theatre with practitioners such as Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier (Peeping Tom), Anton Lachky, Roberto Olivan, Spymonkey and Thomas Prattki (LISPA).
