Mezzo-soprano

Kamilla Dunstan was born in Yorkshire, and then emigrated to New Zealand before returning to the UK. She studied at the Royal College of Music International Opera School, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

She was a finalist at the Maureen Lehane Singing Competition at the Wigmore Hall in November 2018, and is a finalist in the Lyra New York International Vocal Competition 2021.

Opera includes: Second Lady Die Zauberflöte (Glyndebourne on Tour); Fanny Price Mansfield Park (Opera South); Suzy/Lolette La Rondine (West Green House Opera); title role Ariodante (London Handel Festival); Orlofsky,Dorabella (Clonter Opera).

In 2019 she covered Eurydice (Woman) in The Mask of Orpheus for the English National Opera. In concert she has sung Flosshilde Das Rheingold (Birmingham Philharmonic) and Vaughan Williams’s Serenade to Music (CBSO), broadcast on BBC Radio 3 from Symphony Hall.
