Notable engagements elsewhere: Giorgio La gazza ladra, Justizrat Intermezzo (Garsington); premiere of John Casken’s God’s Liar (Almeida Opera); Guglielmo (Bampton Classical Opera); Taddeo L’italiana in Algeri (London Opera Players); Carpenter HMS Pinafore (D’Oyly Carte); Bosun Pinafore (Buxton International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival); Second Burgess Peter Grimes (Berlin Philharmonic/Rattle, Salzburg Festival and Berlin). He has also sung in many operas as a chorister at the ROH. Choral and concert work includes bass solos in Bach’s St Matthew Passion (OAE), baritone soloist with Temple Choir in Fauré Requiem broadcast on Classic FM, premieres of Biggin’s Cry of the Earth and Wilby’s The Lord is King, Barber’s Dover Beach and Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale. He also sings with the BBC Singers, London Voices, Metro Voices, Polyphony, Philharmonia Voices and the OAE.
