Career Highlights

Notable engagements elsewhere: Pietro Simon Boccanegra and Grenvil La traviata, Calafan Caruso in Havana (Dutch National Opera) and as Angelotti Tosca (Festival d’Aix-en-Provence), a role he has previously sung at the ROH. In August 2016, he participated in the prestigious Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival, where he was featured as Naval Captain in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut alongside Anna Netrebko and conducted by Marco Armiliato, and as Palémon Thaïs, sharing the stage with Plácido Domingo. As a young artist with the ROH, he was cast as Quinault Adriana Lecouvreur, Flemish Deputy Don Carlo, Montano Otello under Antonio Pappano, Second Armed Man Die Zauberflöte, Le Sire de Béthune Les vêpres siciliennes, Ghost of Nino Semiramide under Antonio Pappano, Ceprano Rigoletto, Angelotti, Doctor Macbeth, Sentry Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and Fourth Brabantian Noble in David Alden’s new production of Lohengrin.
